Breakfast @ Momona Bakery

Kahului, Hawaii – While we were on our way there, I couldn’t stop wondering if this bakery was going to make it. For two (2) reasons – 1. the location of the bakery is situated in an area that is basically out-of-the way. Meaning, it’s along a stretch of road that turns into a sharp turn where Ka’ahumanu Avenue and Hana Highway sort of – “intersect.” And not only that, but it’s across the street from Maui Mall and Queen Ka’ahumanu Center which are the two (2) major shopping areas in Kahului. Many people are either turning in the parking lots, or looking in that direction while driving past. Meaning, the attention is away from the side of the street where the bakery is located. The No. 2. reason for my skepticism was because there had been a coffee shop that was doing business at that location a couple of years ago that didn’t make it.

Well, it appears this bakery is not going anywhere anytime soon. Take a look!
